zasd
Hi guys. I have been admitted by UPENN MSE in CIS and Cornell MPS in Information Science this year, and currently I have to make decision between these two programs. I'm an international student with both undergraduate degrees in both economics and computer science, and I hope that I can find a job in financial sector in US after graduation from master degree. Therefore, the 3 Wharton's courses which are allowed for UPENN CIS students are really attractive. Moreover, someone says that about 40% students of UPENN SEAS find a job related to finance or consulting, though I'm not quite sure whether it's true. However, I really wonder whether it is easy for non-Wharton students to register for additional Wharton courses, besides the 3 ones. Would anyone tell me about this? For Cornell MPS in IS, it's a new program and allows students to arrange their own curriculum. Besides, it seems that students in this program are allowed to register for courses in applied economics\financial engineering and B-school with few limitations. Also the reputation of Cornell CS seems higher than UPENN. Could you please give me some suggestions? Thank you very much?
