Neither school is particularly prestigious, so I don't know that you are going to get any useful information by asking about "prospects." Why don't you look at the research and talk to the faculty of each school to make your decision?

Thanks, I have digged into their research a little bit. So far I have found that GMU has better activities in my field than that of Melbourne. But Melbourne has very high ranking in engineering in both USNews and Times Higher Ed. On the other hand, GMU is awfully absent in their list. So, I am in dilemma. sad.gif

I would advise you to choose by the location you prefer, since you are unable to decide by other factors.
