Dear Everyone,

I've admitted for MSc in Advanced Neuroimaging, UCL. My goal is to study about psychological disorders and the application of Neuroscience in neurosis.

Now I would like to ask what is your opinion?

Is this program, a good program?

Would it help me with my future studies and my goals?

Thanks.

Hi welcome to the forum!

Yes, a degree in advanced neuroimaging would certainly help your goals. But your goals our a bit vague... Do you want to do your own research, just work in a lab, industry work??

A masters is a good start but to do your own research (if you want) you'd need the PhD. I'm sure the program is fine as long as you get the training you want (if you get fMRI training and you want to do fMRI that's good). But since you're already admitted, it's a little late to be second guessing yourself :)

Hi,

thank you.

In fact I would like to continue my studies till PhD in neuroscience....

I would like to get familiar with different types of instruments used in studying the brain like fMRI,PET,EEG etc...

As I told before my main aim is to study in a way to research on neurosis using neuroscience, and because I am

going to pay the full tuition for this UCL I would like to know how much a MS certificate in Advanced Neuroimaging

from UCL worths? Is it worth it?

Thanks for reply.
