smarty001 Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Hi, I would like to know if anyone has been admitted to any of the masters program at UT GSBS Houston and in which area? thanks
micromajor2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I was admitted, I applied for a PHD in biomedical sciences..but got into the MAsters instead. So Im guessing im in the biomedical sciences master program but I will be concentrating on Immunology. Did you also get in? Have you found a Mentor?

micromajor2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Thank you! No its not fully funded, you have to find a mentor to fund it for you. You're required to find one ASAP so the good thing is, you will likely have funding atleast if you plan to do the masters. Ill be applying the PHD program after there and some other places more than liekly.

Im just sending out emails to professors, trying to see who is open to take students. Not much luck yet. Poor economy is really taking a tole. if you need help contact the student affairs and they will help you out. Good luck!
