Pay for EE (MS) intern at Cisco

Hi guys,

I'm currently a first year grad student (MS) in EE in a tier 1 university, and I've recently been offered a summer internship with Cisco systems under their Choice program. The position I would be taking is Software Engineer II. The recruiter offered me $22.50/hr on the phone, which seemed to be significantly lower than other grad students that I've spoke to, and would seem on par for an undergrad. In fact, my office mate was offered $30.00/hr just this past summer for a Hardware Engineer II intern position.

I'm now questioning if she made a mistake. Do any of you guys have any experience interning at Cisco? How much should I be expecting for a EE graduate student internship?
