Should i retake the GRE? or go for review? or can make up it by TOEFL?..........pls help.........i m serriously considering gettin into top 20...pls help I am quite worried whether the adcom will reject my aplication due to low AWA score.

You have a high GRE score, and rarely does the admissions committee look at the AWA score especially for engineering majors. 3.5 isn't that low either. I'm a US Citizen and I only got a 4 on mine.

I'm a US Citizen and I only got a 4 on mine. hey...i studied electronics and communication.my gre scores are quant=790 and verb= 610...and i got an AWA score of just 3.0 (10% below others)...so does the adcom hesitate coz of this low score in awa?is it similar to saikat89's situation???i havent written toefl yet...and havent done any research on the field in which i am interested in doing ms (i.e. Embedded Systems...my cgpa score is 7.64 / 10 and i got my btech from National Institute of Technology Warangal,India...any idea if i can get within the top twenty good universities??? please help me out here...i am in a very sticky situation.
