statx Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Hello, I have been admitted to the master programme Computer Science and Information Systems in there. But I have some doubts about the university campus. The academical success of the university does not matter to me that much. But, I at least want to be in a socialized and nice enviroment including campus and city. I have heard that the city Commerce sucks. But they told me I might stay in Rockwall, a near city. So, is Rockwall nice? Can I find interesting stuff to do? I am not a party animal or anything but I don't want to spend my 2 years in a boring city and campus? Any of you who attends to Texas A&M University-Commerce, what can you tell me about the campus? Thanks in advance. statx 1
HaruNoKaze Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 If you live in Texas already, or close to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and Commerce is offering you a full ride or a large portion of tuition costs covered, I would do it. Otherwise, consider your other options if they want you to move from out of state with no financial support. It's out in the middle of northeast Texas and closest real city is Dallas. I don't know where you're at, but to me it doesn't sound worth it.
