agrocrag Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I'm finding myself torn between two different specialization interests. I'm planning to apply for an MA this fall/winter (for a Fall 2012 start). I'm interested in both GIS (and cartography) as well as human/cultural/historical geography (specifically the American West and California). I'm not really sure what's more important to me at this point, and I know that's something I need to figure out. But I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or advice?
MeanderingPhD Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Unless you're a programmer, GIS/cartography are really just just tools... You really need to be able to apply these tools to a real world problem. msafiri and Dylan_Ireland 2
