Hello all - we wanted to make sure applicants interested in pursuing a Sociology Ph.D. knew about our new program at Rice University in Houston, TX. All official information can be found here:

The highlights - we are small, and so specialize in four areas: Race/ethnicity (including migration), Urban and Community, Culture and Religion, and Population Health. All admitted students (our cohorts will be 4-6 students each) receive full funding for five years, which includes tuition waivers and stipends of around $25K. We are a young, dynamic, and research- and grant-active faculty. We hope you'll check us out and consider applying this fall.
