How do you contact a potential supervisor/prof for an MA?

So, I know of at least 2 profs at my first choice MA program that have fields of interests that line up exactly with mine. They're both in slightly different fields but both encompass what I want to do at the MA and hopefully PhD level. How do I contact them about a potential interest, or is that even ok to do? (My field's political science).

I didnt even know you could do this until recently so I have NO idea how to word it!
