hli1022 Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 (edited) Hello everyone, I am currently applying for NYU Polytech University's computer science program. However, my undergraduate degree is not in computer science. It is actually in something totally different. I was wondering if I should take the Computer Science Subject GRE in addition to the General GRE. The subject GRE is not required, but would it increase my chances of getting accepted if I take it, especially since I didn't major in the subject during my undergraduate years? Thank you. dntw8up Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Yes, taking the cs subject exam would help your application if you scored well, which is extremely difficult to do even for cs majors.
