LukeZ Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Hello, I am currently a third year History and Philosophy/Religion double major at a small liberal arts school in Florida. I have a few areas of interest and am trying to decide which to pursue in graduate school. One such interest is nationalism, in particular the ties between religion and nationalism. Does anyone have any pointers as to which programs/schools I should look into in order to study this? Thank you.
Sigaba Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Do you have either an area or a period in mind?
goldielocks Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Hi there. Just wanted to suggest that you check out the AHA directory. http://www.historians.org/projects/cge/PhD/intro.cfm It's great for searching by specialization, if you're just beginning to look into programs. Good luck. goldielocks 1
LukeZ Posted October 1, 2011 Author Posted October 1, 2011 Well, my main research into this area has been 20th century Germany, but I'm pretty much just interested in the role of religion in the construction of identity throughout Europe (and America) since the Reformation.
