sonicmascis Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Hello folks, I've been reading a lot about admission processes to north-american psychology departments (mostly on the internet) since I'll be applying to some of them soon. However, while surfing through amazon a few days ago I found this very interesting book and decided to buy it: http://www.amazon.com/Graduate-Study-Psychology-2012-Caroline/dp/1433810670/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1318700061&sr=8-3 Just received it a few days ago. I just wanted to share with you guys how much the book has helped me through this process. A (mostly) complete list of standardized information (grades, relevance of criteria, number of applications/number of admissions for each of the department's areas, faculty etc) is available for every university in US and Canada. It's an easy way to gain access to up-to-date information that sometimes is dispersed on the internet. Well, just thought you guys would like some review on this book and I find it pretty worthwhile.
Behavioral Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Yup. There's good reason why everyone here recommends the book to all the prospective applicants.
