DancesWithDogs Posted October 20, 2011 Author Posted October 20, 2011 74 view and still no bites? ....does no one know????? greendiplomat and DancesWithDogs 1 1
readyornot Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 The main differences I can see are that the Fels is two years, SP2 is one year; and also SP2 doesn't offer a traditional MPA, but instead either a degree in social policy or one in NGO management. Does that help? It is odd that they are two separate schools, but you can take classes at either one through either program, so it's just about which program fits your needs (Fels also seems to lean more heavily towards government and political work).
michigan girl Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 (edited) School of Social Policy and Practice is for applicants who desire a foundation in social work, social policy, and social change organizations. The Fels School of Government is for applicants who desire a foundation in economics, public policy, and traditional nonprofit management. Hope this helps. Edited October 31, 2011 by michigan girl
