How many schools will recommedor send to??

I want to apply to as many schools as possible because my program is becoming increasingly competitive. Is it ok to ask professors to send letters to a bunch of schools? Or do they typically limit the number of schools they will send letters to? Sooo frustrating!!

I highly recommend using Interfolio if at all possible. I would say it's reasonable for them to send it to under 10 if you prepare everything. Generally, paper versions require less work since they don have to fill out online forms.

If you pre-address all the envelopes and create one deadline for them (well before the actual application deadline and one deadline for all the schools to make it easier!), it shouldn't be an issue. All they have to do is print out several copies.
