jldstudio Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Didn't see one of these unless I missed it, but share away if you want. I'll go first, looking for any school suggestions- http://www.jldstudio.com My BFA was at VCU for sculpture. I prefer interdisciplinary programs and a chance for some funding. My application list, no real order: 1 USC 2 UCLA 3 UC Berkeley 4 Tyler 5 Rutgers 6 SDSU 7 Uc Davis 8 UCSD 9 UCI 10 UMD 11 UNC 12 NYU
brown06 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 hey if you like interdisciplinary and UC schools with funding why not UCSB? They fund and have a really great department that doesn't focus on any one genre. I'd give my liver to go there but I dont do their typical sort of work, but yours looks like a fit. Also what about UC-Riverside, I know they aid, and they have a brand spankin new art center with awesome studio space.
brown06 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Oh also they get like 90-100 applicants for 10 spots, so 10% shot is pretty decent for a good UC program
jldstudio Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 Thanks! I'll have to look into those two some more.
