EquationForLife Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Hello, Do I need to send transcripts for community colleges for graduate school application? I graduated from a UC but prior to my UC attendance and after my graduation, I have taken a few community college classes for interest and some for relevance to my studies. I have classes at 5 different community colleges, would it be necessary to send transcipts for each to all my grad schools or just maybe the ones with relevant courses? Darwin
emmm Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 (edited) Yes, you do. ALL of them. Edited November 6, 2011 by emmm
mchester6028 Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 I had the same question; thanks for the response!
emmm Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I ended up sending 7 transcripts to each place I applied to. Quite a nuisance.
elsie Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I ended up sending 7 transcripts to each place I applied to. Quite a nuisance. I had 7 too. It wasn't cheap. lol
trevortiger Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I heard the same thing. Every class at EVERY college or university you've ever attended. I am paranoid I will forget one...Apparently there is some kind of national clearinghouse where schools can get a list of all the ones you've ever attended, so if you omit a few, they might wonder what you are keeping from them...
UnlikelyGrad Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I ended up sending 7 transcripts to each place I applied to. Quite a nuisance. Wow. And I thought 5 was bad.
emmm Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 What can I say -- I like learning. Most of my school experiences were positive ones, so I really didn't mind collecting all the transcripts THAT much.
sandyvanb Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 It depends, some of my programs just want the transcripts from the schools I earned degrees from, others want all of the transcripts. Lucily, it was only three schools for me.
