lalabooks Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Just curious the extent of the math section on the new test. I know there is a calculator. Is it able to calculate standard deviation and other time consuming calculations? Or are we not required to do that? If anybody that has taken the test could please fill me in on the extent of statistics on the test that would be great! Any other pertinent advice about the test in general would be awesome as well!!
Rachel B Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) It's the most basic calculator you could have. Here is a screenshot of it on an ETS practice test: http://www.happyscho...ator.png?9d7bd4 And I didn't have to solve for Standard Deviation on my test, I just had to use the concept to solve distribution problems.
