Peggy Guggenheim Collection Internship (Venice)

Hello art historians!

Did anyone else apply for an internship with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice? Have you heard anything?

If anyone applied in past years, when were you notified? I am wondering if the Dec. 1 notification date is only for successful applicants. This wait is driving me the teensiest bit crazy!

Hello MarcelloMarcelli, I am applying to the internship as well; though, I am applying to the December 1st deadline. Quick question: we only need to send in the first page of the application form right?

fragonard32, Sorry it took me a few days to write back. I believe we only have to send in the page(s) we fill out (i.e., not the pages with only info/directions and no blanks). Best of luck!

I guess we (Jan-April applicants) should hear by tomorrow? Maybe? Fingers crossed!

Prado, thanks for writing! I was about to ask the same thing. No, not a peep. What to think? I've scoured the internet, but there's no notice of anyone having heard...for whatever that's worth. Good luck! Did you apply for the 1-month? Do please post when you hear anything!

I applied for the months of February and March and am so relieved that I'm not the only one who hasn't heard back yet...I guess no news is good news so far! I'll defnitely keep you posted on whether I hear anything. Best of luck to you too!

Thanks for your reply Marcello, I did just that.

Also, there is an old thread here on the PGC Internship exactly about this. It appears it isn't uncommon for applicants not to hear back for a few days after the notification deadline, so don't lose hope!

Same here, Prado. Man. Have you tried writing to them directly? The 8th is a big holiday over there, so I'm thinking if we don't hear today/tomorrow, we may not until Monday the 12th. Which would itself be an answer, I think. Good luck!
