C.Kleiber Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 hey guys, I'm a foreign student. I guess it's a bit late to do researches for fall 12, but I just wanted to ask if anyone knows any schools that are well known for studies on authoritarianism and democratization in comparative politics? Based on my research, it seems that UCLA (Geddes), Chicago (Slater), Ohio State (Gunther, Kurtz, Shabad, Sisson), Stanford (Magaloni, McFaul), Cornell (Bunce, de Walle, Pepinsky), Harvard (Putnam, Ekiert, Ziblatt, Pharr) have scholars that do these topics. Did I miss any schools or people?
CookieJar Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Off the top of my head, Prezworski (NYU). What about those with some regional specialization, like a few at Columbia.
