School Doesn't Ask For SoP...

All of the schools I am applying to require some sort of essay except one. That one school asks for GRE scores, transcripts, and rec letters, but doesn't ask for any sort of statement or even a CV/resume.

I'm wondering if I should send something anyway, like at least my CV. Does anyone here think sending extra materials could harm my chances? It just seems weird to me that they wouldn't want to see anything about me except scores.
