CageFree Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 If you took a class at a community college WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL - is that transcript supposed to be part of the application? I got credit at my undergraduate institution for it. I had completely forgotten about that and now I'm panicking because I already submitted two applications.
coffeeplease Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 If you got credit from your undergraduate institution, it will be on that transript and you don't need to submit an additional one. Don't panic!
bythesea Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 If you still have time, it might be good to call or email and ask. Because... this was/is an issue for me too - I didn't list or request a transcript for a college course taken in high school. When the Grad Admissions office updated my online app status page five days before the deadline, the college was listed, along with "NOT RECEIVED" for the official transcript. Apparently they noticed the credit on my undergrad transcript and wanted a transcript from the original institution even though the application instructions say to list only courses taken after high school.
CageFree Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 I emailed both schools and they said not to worry about it. I'm going to try and pick up a few for the rest of the applications. I feel like a bonehead LOL. Thanks for the advice!
