Okay, so I tried start the application for Cornell (I know, I know, I shouldn't have waited until the last minute) and it's saying I already have an account for that program through another school and that i should use that log in info. I am nervous to go forward. Is that normal? Is that going to cause issues? Do I still put in all the same information? Basically, I have no idea where to go from here. I haven't logged in yet because I am confused about this email. Someone, please help!

I don't think it's a big deal at all. I applied to a school that uses ApplyWeb last year (Ohio State, I think), and now I'm applying to Cornell as well (for linguistics), so I had to use the same user name and password. I don't remember any of the information being ported from the one app to the other. I think ApplyWeb is just trying to restrict the number of unique accounts. They don't want 10 accounts for the same name and social on their server. Or at least that's what I'm guessing. I hope it works out for you!

Awesome. Thanks. Instead of just logging in I just freaked out and closed it for now. lol. Anything out of the ordinary at this point is totally freaking me out.

Don't worry, Timshel. I have a total of FOUR applications all on the same Apply Web account. When you log in as yourself, no matter the school, it should pull up a main page showing what applications you have cooking. For me, I have one already submitted, so the rest are "hidden" and I just have to click on another link on that main page to get there.

Normal. I have 3 that do that and it picked up from an application I did last year.

have it for ohio state and carnegie. really i wish all schools went through one thing like this. too much to remember.
