Same dept, different program?

Hi all,

So I'm reading about all the notifications for the social/education/etc. psych program people and I was wondering if anyone knows whether notification periods are generally the same for the entire department, or vary by the specific program within each department? I'd like to think the former, but the latter sort of makes a bit more sense to me.....

I think it might vary from school to school whether they do them together. I know at least some of the Ed. Psych notifications were from Colleges of Education, so totally different than Psychology Departments.

In general, I think you can't assume that different programs in the same dept will do things together/simultaneously. Maybe some do, but many seem not to.

Yeah, I've had two schools invite me to interviews for just the developmental group, w/ other parts of psych holding different visit days.
