For anyone worried about late recommendations

One of my recommenders has been out sick this week and won't make the application deadlines of today. I've spoken to a couple of programs and they all have said there is no problem at all with it being a few days late. I didn't give my name or anything like that, so they didn't need to make a note on my application or anything...I even got a little chuckle out of one admin office at the idea they may not consider it (they must get a lot of this query!)

So basically, don't panic! As long as your part is all done, it looks like they're pretty generous with leeway on the other things.
