jeninator88 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I applied to Bioengineering Ph.D. programs and am waiting to hear back, but I was curious as to whether I should be expecting a call or email if I am lucky enough to get good news. From the discussions and results survey on here, I believe it's typical to go through the interview process before a decision is made, in which I was wondering if you were invited by phone, and if so, were asked any questions prior to being offered the chance to interview. I am nervous because I'm not very good on the phone, and want to know what to expect, like who did you talk to and how it went overall. Some of the schools I applied to were: Stanford, Penn, and Berkeley-UCSF. Thanks in advance!
sam0_o Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I was invited by e-mail to the University of Rochester to interview, and i was called by Duke, but i let it go to voice mail, and they simply invited me to come down and listed off the available days.
reese8089 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Sam0, have you received any other invites? My husband was invited for an interview at Uuniversity Rochester, but none others yet....so I was just wondering how other applicants are fairing so far.
