lizardclan Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 This site is a little depressing insofar as the people who frequent it are more dedicated to academics and, consequently, have higher GRE scores. I celebrated my score (720Q, 640V), until I started reading results/forums here. Waiting sucks. Yeah, I thought my score (790Q, 580V) was tops, looks kinda average now. The waiting for me should be over this week or next. If I don't get invited to an interview, then I'm just waiting for a rejection. Best, -the lizard

brancan Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 These don't at all seem accurate, in terms of the actual scores programs receive. I have to agree with commguy that the people on this board seem to have higher scores. The average GRE scores for communication programs (the few that are listed) are all below the average scores here. And those are admitted candidates, not solely applicants. Obviously, this varies by field. I'm far happier with my 700V and 630Q than I would be the other way around, but I'd imagine that all of the science people feel the opposite. commguy 1
