i called Eng. dep. @ harvard and they told me the results.... not admitted.... fortunately i got into other good schools as well ...but it could have been nice going there

I got my first acceptance just now!!

UCSD material science department.

I have to make decisions by april 15th

But no funding info..what should I do? do I email them and ask?

I'm waiting on Berkeley, UPenn and Boston U too. It's too late to even hope, but I wish they would reply soon.

lkh5650, if you contact them, please let us also know what they say. UPenn replied to my mail 3 weeks ago saying they are finished with the first round and will follow up after those admits are confirmed. Berkeley did not reply to email since a week.

Sounds like the Colorado School of Mines has sent out some rejections today, but I haven't heard from them yet
