Stanford Linguistics 2012

Did anyone actually get in this year? I only see the 6 rejections posted on the results forum. I guess it's not crazy to believe that those who go invited for an interview are simply not GradCafers (shame!), there are a lot of you out there that mentioned Stanford as one of the schools you applied to so perhaps someone on this forum got some good new?

Also, anyone know how many applicants they got? The rejection e-mail said something about record applicants and I'm curious how many that actually means.

I was rejected by Stanford. In previous years, there were several acceptances/interviews of (Stanford and Berkeley) posted here. However, I did not see any good news this year about these two schools.

Acceptance letters from Stanford were only sent out last week after they completed their interviews/open house. I believe 8 were selected, at the most. Hope this helps!
