thirddegree Posted February 14, 2012 Share Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) I am just now researching MHC programs in NY, specifically Long Island, and I'm trying to get some feedback or hearsay on them....specifically Hofstra, Adelphi, and CW Post. It seems that of the three, CW Post's program is the only one that is CACREP accredited. Also, CW Post's is an MS while Hofstra's and Adelphi's is an MA. Just wondering if any of the three has a better rep or has better post-grad success than the others. Thanks in advance if you have anything to share! I'm also wondering about how these schools line up against less-expensive schools like john jay, brooklyn college, touro, and suny old westbury. Also what's the whole deal with the cacrep- cw post tries to make it seem like they're so good because they are cacrep accredited, but obviously it's not that big of deal if schools like nyu, fordham, and columbia aren't cacrep acredited...
