MyshkinLit Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Hey, some schools are really taking their sweet time getting back to us about our acceptances. No? Has anyone heard anything from Harvard's Comp Lit program or know when to expect news? I know Columbia will be sending out admissions decisions next week. And most other schools already informed their admitted students, although left most applicants in the dark, to receive their rejection letters in Apri. They're kind like that. I hope everyone is receiving at least some good news. Just one positive letter/email/phone call and everything else kind of goes away, right?
turtlepower Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Just one positive letter/email/phone call and everything else kind of goes away, right? In theory. It's short-lived, though. One acceptance leads to anxiety about the next, and indecision about funding compounds the whole problem. I hate this process!
MyshkinLit Posted February 20, 2012 Author Posted February 20, 2012 Has no one heard from Harvard Comp Lit yet? Does anyone have any idea when they'll notify?
ComeBackZinc Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 There was a Harvard English acceptance listed on the board, a call from a POI, but it seems pretty fishy.
pel Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 I'm pretty sure they will notify soon. I did my undergrad at the comp lit department there and they notified last year's applicants during the last week of february (that was when I was finishing up my senior thesis; sweet memories...)
ophelia9 Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Apparently they were closed today. Now I feel dumb for panicking all afternoon.
