Still waiting for the results of other universities. Wish everyone good luck! Congrats on your LSE MPA admission. I think you are the first candidate on this forum. The LSE scholarship decision takes a while based on previous posts.

It's true that Cambridge is very competitive. What is your status in Camsis? Mine is still "under consideration by department". Have you heard anything from Oxford yet? Awaiting consideration by Department -- From Oxford we will hear the 17th of March according to their blog :-) To be honest I am not even sure whether I would take Cambridge over LSE, the program at Cambridge is relatively new and in terms of faculty/course options LSE seems to have a slighty comparative advantage. Oxford is your first pick as well?

RS- Tz
Got accepted to LSE MPA but they say I have no funding through the school. I find it strange since I applied with more almost 6 years of relevant experience while I actually know fresh graduates got full scholarship. I have no idea what to think of this. LSE is not that famous for being generous :/

I did speak to their funding support and I somehow get a sense that they fair better in being generous in comparison to the US schools atleast. Any pointers would be well appreciated. pubpol123
Hi all-- Any chance anyone here applied for the LSE MPA for fall 2018? I was accepted a few weeks ago and am trying to see how this program compares to other policy programs in the U.S. (i.e. HKS/Berkeley/Harris). I can't seem to find a lot of info on the program. Also, does anyone know if there's any potential to receive any scholarships for this?

I've heard good things, but as a US citizen, I'm unsure about the networking and finding a job from the UK. I applied for scholarship money but am not expecting much (if any). Agreed--I applied but am not expecting anything. We don't hear about scholarship money until July, correct? I actually talked to one alum of the program (from the States). She only had positive things to say about the program and didn't mention anything about problems with finding a job--now works for the US government. She mentioned that employers look at the degree like an MPP.
