Guest Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I've noticed the vast majority of people applying at the masters-level are shooting for a Duke MDiv here, but are there any MTSers out there? If so, how badly do you want it? I've been stricken with Duke fever recently and definitely hope to get in there. Any veterans have any info on their admissions from previous years? Thanks P.S. I was told we'll hear from admissions around March 15!
MsBOOM Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I was going to apply there and decided against it. I'm not exactly sure why, though... oops -.-
Mejillas Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Duke is my top choice for the MTS. If I recall correctly, they admit 20-25 students to the program and have 4-5 full tuition scholarships available. Apart from that, as alluded to above, funding for the MTS seems to be pretty limited. March 15th (+/- a few days) is when we will know! My love for Duke and plans to attend have slightly shifted after hearing back from Boston College on the phone that I was admitted to the MTS degree with a full tuition fellowship and a $5000 stipend! Decisions, decisions...
blackandwhite Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Admitted but have heard nothing about funding. Does this mean I'm not getting any? Anyone able to shed light on this?

The 4 fully-funded scholarships available to MTS students have been announced already. You will probably qualify for a 22% need-based grant if you aren't incredibly rich but, otherwise, there is no funding for it.
