ORFEboy Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Hi, I applied to 14 PhDs program and so far interviewed with 4 and got rejected from 9... I kinda lost hope, but one school which interviewed me last month is the most promising one. I believe I did pretty well on the phone interview (as it was my 4th one), and I did send a thank you note to the interviewer (one of the committee). There are lot of rejections last week, and luckily I have not heard anything from them yet. I hope it means that they're still considering me seriously. Now, I am wondering if I could send another email to the interviewer as "a follow-up" and state that I will definitely accept the offer if I got in. It is indeed my top choice. I am not sure how to phrase my letter, and if this will help or hurt my chance. Any thoughts? Thank you so much!
abc123xtc Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I honestly wouldn't. You would probably come across as needy. I think you should just wait. jbriar 1
MarketingPhD2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Yeah, I would probably wait it out as well. Trust me, I know what you are going through! It is taking all my might not to email my remaining schools! jbriar 1
