Cptgreen Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Applied to one grad school, my top choice by far, and got accepted. Any reasoning behind applying to others? As an officer in the United States Army funding is not an issue. Eigen and R Deckard 1 1
electrochoc Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 If it was already your top choice and funding is not an issue, it seems that other applications would only waste your time and money. The only reason to apply to one or two more would be if you're unsure about this one grad school that accepted you.
Roo Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 You should apply very institutions. Applying institutions is very important Kidding about typos aside, if you already got into your top choice, I wouldn't worry about it. That said, if you find another program that you think is interesting, go ahead and apply. I applied to a school that was not really a top destination for me at the start of the season, and ended up loving it so much that I had to start a thread about it earlier today. No reason to close doors for yourself, but don't keep doors open that you don't plan to walk through.
