ohheygradschool Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 It's about time we had a thread of our own. I know you're out there, fellow historians of science. Reveal yourselves! I'm really curious as to who posted the other Yale acceptance just now....
carroll11 Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Hi againbubotuberpus! Sorry to leave you out here all alone...I've been trying to avoid the forum I'm also as an (aspiring) historian of science, with a particular interest in technology. I'd love to see who else is out there...
vanasme Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I'm a history of science person! Specifically, I'm interested in studying the history of medicine... we'll see what happens with the results of my applications to know if it's even a possibility!
ohheygradschool Posted February 28, 2009 Author Posted February 28, 2009 Specifically, I'm interested in studying the history of medicine... we'll see what happens with the results of my applications to know if it's even a possibility! Me too! Yay history of medicine
Theophrastus Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I'm into history of science, too! I feel slightly less alone now. I'm debating between Penn, Hopkins, Rutgers, IU Bloomington, and UCSD at the moment. I'm interested in science in the context of European empires, especially anthropology and archeology--I know its a strange focus. Where have you all applied, and which schools are you considering? What are your research interests, more specifically?
