SunsetHarbor Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Just be aware that these rankings are based on the often subjective perception of SW deans, administrators and faculty and not on anything else - for example, % completing program, % finding employment etc. Here is an interesting article which speaks more in depth on methodology. http://sweduc.wordpress.com/2012/01/22/us-news-msw-rankings/
arcoventry Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I believe Hunter was #26 not so long ago - This list shows it as tied with NYU at #16, which is a considerable feat considering the cost difference and the way cost factors into an MSW student's decision. To say you went to a Top 20 social work program and still have less than 20K in loans will be a great feeling! Thanks for the second link, Aleblanc. I will read through it when I get a free moment
