Choosing between Canadian MA programs...help!

Hi everyone,

Longtime lurker, first time poster. So I have been accepted to an MA program in American Studies at UWO and history at McMaster. I am currently finishing an undergrad in history, and I cannot decide between the two. Both have offered approximately the same amount of funding, so that is not the concern. The UWO program seems really cool and offers some unique coursework (and there is a prof I would really like to work with there). However, I plan to eventually pursue a Ph.D in American and gender history so part of me thinks that sticking with a history program will likely be better for me in the long term.The program at Mac is also appealing for a number of reasons, so I am torn! Thoughts? Help me please!
