Has anyone heard from UOttawa yet? I applied for an MA in history and the status of my application online("we are currently reviewing your application"...) has been the same since mid-February. I find it odd considering I heard back from the other schools weeks ago. I have already accepted another offer, but I am just curious since I have read they sometimes send out letters late. Plus I paid the $100 application fee, so it would be nice to hear SOMETHING at least!

I found out I was accepted to UWO's MA program in American Studies on Tuesday, if that helps at all.

Hi everyone, Longtime lurker, first time poster. So I have been accepted to an MA program in American Studies at UWO and history at McMaster. I am currently finishing an undergrad in history, and I cannot decide between the two. Both have offered approximately the same amount of funding, so that is not the concern. The UWO program seems really cool and offers some unique coursework (and there is a prof I would really like to work with there). However, I plan to eventually pursue a Ph.D in American and gender history so part of me thinks that sticking with a history program will likely be better for me in the long term.The program at Mac is also appealing for a number of reasons, so I am torn! Thoughts? Help me please!
