strangertimes Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Does anyone have any idea what SAIS's biggest fellowship award is? They have so many named fellowships listed on their website but many have no amount listed next to them...
rose1 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I don't know. Are they offering the named fellowships in their acceptance letters or will that come out with FAFSA aid??
MYRNIST Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Full tuition is the largest I've seen. I applied to a few of the full tuition ones, didn't bother with the little 5k ones. To quote the great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsjBVQ6Kk4E, "why mess around with them little nickels when you can get the big dollars?" Anxiously waiting to hear back about the results.

SAIS is my dream school but I would have to get pretty much that full tuition one to attend. I'm not complaining because I have some generous offers from other great schools but if I missed an application I am seriously regretting it. Was it something in your FAFSA? Since Im an international I didnt have to do that...

The results come out in a week =\. I'm in the same position as you.

I think they were all for US citizens, so if you are international maybe that's why you weren't notified. I think two of them were related to security studies and diplomatic/government services respectively, and one was an open essay contest.

Yep, I went back and checked and 2/3 of those fellowships were for US citizens only, and the 3rd was a small 5k award that won't help me anyway. Well, fingers crossed
JerusalemS Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 The only full tuition one that I've seen for International students was the Dean's Fellows. and I think it's two people a year.
