Final Decisions, Declined Offers

So where are you going this Fall? Also, which offers have you declined so far? (This is for those who are waitlisted in some schools)

I'll start:

I finally decided to attend Johns Hopkins for Bioinorganic Chem. So far, I've declined the offer from Tufts and U Florida.

**Side question: Is there really such a thing as a wait-list in Chem? I talked to a POI and she said that they make 40-50 offers annually but only ~15 enroll to the program. I guess it all depends on the school reputation.

I have declined Rochester and Indiana but still considering UCLA and Colorado along with non-chemistry programs at other schools.

Too early to decide for me. Havent heard back from one program and only had 1 interview weekend so far.

I'm deciding between Boston College and Brown. I know BC is a stronger program but I think I'll be a lot happier at Brown and that's an important factor for me. Sigh. Tough decision. I've declined an offer from U Maryland.

April 15 is just around the corner so I'm bumping this up.

I went for a run today to clear my head and suddenly came to the realization that Berkeley is the one and only school for me. Wahoo!

After several failed attempts at hitting the submit button I finally managed to accept Columbia University's offer! So stoked.

Caltech in the fall. Also stoked.

Had a difficult time deciding between MIT and Stanford in the end, but Stanford it is!

I accepted Duke's offer just an hour or so ago. When I visited it just felt like it was right for me, like it was where I'm supposed to be.
