going Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) An announcement was made last week about Dr. Chabon's move as chair of the department to serve as associate dean of the humanities and social sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The new department chair is Dr. Christina Gildersleeve-Neumann. Also, two of the most notable faculty members, Dr. Rik Lemoncello and Dr. Kerry Mandulak, are leaving to join the newly created communication disorders program at Pacific University. There will be five faculty and staff members hired to fill in the gaps. Since this information has not been posted on the PSU website, I wanted for all of the prospective grad students to know what is going on with the speech and hearing sciences program. I think that a great deal of interest in the program at PSU was generated due to Dr. Chabon's presence in the program. Even though she will still be on campus, it will not be in the same capacity.
