Interview results for application year 2012

I've been wondering how closely related interviews are to acceptances. I thought about creating a SurveyMonkey poll, given how limited this system's polls are, but I decided to start with just this basic format and see if people are interested enough to want to approach the question more thoroughly.

The other thing I've been thinking would be interesting would be a survey to see if there is any correlation between visiting a school/having significant communication with faculty prior to applying, and being accepted.

So, have at. I know the poll isn't perfect, but I figured a quick and dirty attempt is better than nothing.

I got 2 offers out of the 5 interviews that I have attended. All interviews expenses and travel were covered totally by the schools. All were doctoral degree programs. I am wondering if master degree programs get covered too with travel expenses.

I'm two for three so far on acceptances from interviews. Haven't heard back from TJU but I already accepted Rutgers' offer so its moot now anyway.

I didn't actually vote in the poll, because I figure that my situation--I only applied to one program that offers interviews--isn't statistically significant. But I was offered an interview at UMich's School of Public Health for their MPH/MHSA in Health Management and Policy and was offered admission. Ford doesn't do interviews.
