ridgey Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 We probably don't really have the numbers here to get anything very interesting out of a poll. But just in case, I thought I'd make one. I've been thinking about Yale's 5/200 admits across the whole of their public health dept (see other thread) and wonder how their applicants are distributed by area. The poll lets you choose two options so you can choose between MPH and PhD - sorry DrPH and other folk! If you've only applied to programmes in "Public Health" with no further specification, just choose what you think your dissertation will be in or what you find the most interesting.
Dreams Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 The poll lets you choose two options so you can choose between MPH and PhD - sorry DrPH and other folk! You could always relabel it as "master's level" and "doctoral level."
Stories Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 PhD Epi for me! Me too, even though I'm enrolling in the environmental epi division at Yale 8) I'm somewhat surprised at the very few numbers here.

Yale's distribution is usually one per department. Chronic Disease Epi had two, though.

zarc Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Didn't let me choose two options... I tried. MPH in Global Health (International)
jacsd Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Who are the 5 people in Environmental Public Health? Please contact me. I'd like advice in applying for PhD programs in the near future.
