booksareneat
What kind of federal post service would shut down on a holiday like today? Don't they know I have mail to receive? Now, I'll be forced to check my email 30 more times a minute.
YagglesSnaggles
Waited outside on top of my car typing thesis for 2 hours expecting mail lady to show up. She is quite the attractive little button might I add, and I started to get worried when 1130 came, until I realized it was P-day. This is absurd; they should of delivered mail yesterday knowing today was a holiday. I mean, what about all those late "i didn't forget" gifts. Shouldn't it be illegal to have two holidays within the span of 3 days?
guenevere01
LOL, well, I don't think Valentine's Day is an "official" holiday. Actually, come to think of it, no Saint's day is an official holiday in the US, that I know of. Separation of Church and State? I suppose if they did one saint, they'd have to do them all, and then there would be NO workdays/maildays on the calendar!
booksareneat
The least they could do is recognize St. Crispin's day, especially since we're not waiting for letters on October 25th.
guenevere01
Nope, not even All Saint's Day, which would make total sense since we're all recovering from Halloween on that day, PLUS they could get all the saints over with in one day!
