Is Columbia FFSEAS sending out an email when they start considering an application this year?

I just want to ask anyone who has applied for a fall 2012 master's program whether they've received an email saying that your application has been sent for review by the admission committee. I know that they've done it in past years but I'm not sure whether they do it in all cases.

I submitted my application for the Computer Science Master's program at the end of the year last year and I think it was fully complete by mid January. So far, I haven't gotten any emails from Columbia so I'm wondering what's going on. I was expecting to get the "we've sent your application to the admissions committee" email early this month.
