Anyone received acceptance or rejection from Queens MPA program for Fall 2012? I've seen only a couple of people say they were accepted but that was from a few weeks ago. Any news out there?

For anyone wondering about the MPA program at Queens....Per the program coordinator, I received this by email on March 29th.

The round of offers were sent out at the beginning of March. The Committee is meeting again next week to discuss how many spots are still available and how many second round offers we will be sending out. We should have all notifications sent out no later than April 15th.

Back to waiting...

I heard I was accepted to Queen's mid-March. They wanted to know if I accepted my offer by April 6th, so makes sense that they would do another round after that.

Have either of you applied to other MPA/MPP programs?

Thanks for the info. I only applied to Queens because of location.

Hi all, this is my first post on this website, I got accepted into the Queens MPA too and just got an email yesterday about the welcome session on April 27th. Is anyone else going? Good luck to all those waiting!!

I would like to go to the welcome session but don't think I will be able to make it (I love in PEI). Do you know how many people are in the MPA program at Queen's each year?

I think it's about 40-45 students, that's what I was told when I applied. Have you found a place yet to live in Kingston?

Not yet, I'm hoping to look at some places when I go down on the 27th.

I've also accepted but will not be going to the welcome session — Kingston is far! I'm also still looking for a place to live and would prefer to live with other grad students, if anyone finds a great place please do let me know!

You're the only person I know who actually wants to live in Kingston.
