ASU vs OSU (Ohio)

Hi guys, I have been accepted into ASUs and OSU's Phd Program.

ASU is offering me $25,000 per year and the faculty are really nice to me . No funding information from OSU yet, i was told to wait until April 15th. If no funding provided by OSU, i will definitely go to ASU. But if there is similar funding there, i do not know which to choose.

OSU ranks approximately 28 and ASU ramks 39 (in econ graduate study). Do you guys have any idea about how the ranking will affect phD studies? Besides i cannot find exact information about the placement of OSU. It has been a hard choice for me.

Any other input to help me narrow it down?

Thank you in advance.

Have you considered ranking computed with RePEc data? OSU (48) vs. ASU (55) not much a difference but know this: ASU is sunny with lots of pools. OSU is cold most of the year. ;) That $25k will really go along way in AZ. I live down in Tucson, planning on applying for the next term.
