Anyone use My.SJSU website??

I am using it to track my application status... which still says "incomplete" but the only thing the the "to do list" beneath it, says "Document Submission ID form" and the status on that is "initiated." I have no idea what's going on or why my application is listed as incomplete. I tried calling my department but only got voicemail so I left a message but I haven't heard back. I'm so worried, the deadline is in a few days and I don't know what's going on. I'm debating if i should call again or just not worry about it since nothing else was listed.

Does anyone else use the My.SJSU site?

I would say that if the deadline is in a few days, maybe you should call again just to be safe. Better to be safe than sorry, right? I applied to SJSU as well and my status says "Referred to Grad Department" with some form called "Student Certification" on my ToDo list. It also has a status of "Initiated." Can you click on "Document Submission ID form" on your ToDo list? I could click on the Student Certification on my ToDo list and it gave a bit more detail. Either way, I think you should call again. Also, I'm wondering if "Initiated" just means that the school has initiated the process of notifying you that it needs to be submitted? I'm not sure I helped much but let me know if you have any questions on what I wrote. Good luck to you!

Thanks for responding. On Friday, I contacted the tech for the website a and she responded within a couple of hours! She just had to update my application again, she sent it off to the grad department. Yay!

As for me, no, SJSU was not a top choice. Between the five schools I applied to, SJSU was borderline between 2nd and third choice. I actually already accepted an offer from an out-of-state school - they offered an assistantship which covers tuition and includes a monthly stipend. My research interests are a perfect match with the faculty so I just couldn't pass up the offer! It was my first choice school.

How bout you? Is SJSU a top choice for you?

My application status is "referred to grad dept" since a week. can you tell me how long would it take for the final result ?
