magiclogic Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Anyone applied for the PhD in educational measurement or educational statistics concentrations? where? That is where I have applied at SUSE, HGSE, Penn, Teachers, BC, Berkeley, UTAustin and UCLA. Just trying to get some numbers (applicants) for that field. Usually it is within Educational Psychology (like SUSE) or within Quantitative Measurement and Evaluation (like most). Also I wonder what concentration within Education is the most competitive one?
mlamar Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Yes! I applied to Quantitative Methods and Evaluation at Berkeley (accepted), Educational Psychology at SUSE (still waiting), and Learning Sciences at U Washington (still waiting). That last one is not a statistics program, but the UW stats program has weird deadlines. I'm hoping that I can do a cross technology and stats there (if I go there).
magiclogic Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 Thanks mlamar, I have sent you a private message asking about some details you might share.
Pielet Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I am with you, guys. Waiting to hear from a few schools in quant methods and stats... I'll keep you posted.
